After appearing on the David Letterman Show where she interpreted for Chilean miner Edison Peña, USA Today hailed her as “a charming translator” and CNN said she was “great.”

She has also worked as a consultant for the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues and the International Labor Organization. Her areas of expertise include human rights, multilateral environmental accords like the Kyoto Protocol and the Convention on Biological Diversity, intellectual property rights and the arts.
